Go Veggie!

Humans eat meat through choice, as we do not need it in our diets to be healthy. Vegetarians don't eat red meat, fish, shellfish, poultry or slaughterhouse byproducts, such as gelatine and animal fats.

Vegans also avoid eggs, dairy products and honey. There are now lots of vegans in the UK as more and more people realise that it's a much healthier and kinder diet. Veggies and vegans are not sickly, skinny types who hate their food. Quite the opposite, in fact! If you were a fly on the wall at Animal Aid's offices, you'd hear us going on and on about food. We love eating!
